Party Terms and Conditions

To secure your date we require a non-refundable deposit of £50 to be paid at time of booking

We will be in touch two weeks before the party, at which point we will need final party guest numbers. After this an invoice will be emailed to you with payment required one week before the party.

All art and craft materials and everything needed for the activities are provided and included. Aprons are also provided, but we recommend that children wear clothing appropriate for arts and crafts. Artful Kids will not be liable for any stains or marks on children’s clothes.

All items made during the party can be taken home to enjoy. Instructions and guidance for the activity will be provided, along with support and direction. However, at Artful Kids we believe in the importance of process led creation. We strive for an open-ended, experimental and self-motivated, creative experience.

On the day, I will aim to arrive between 30-45 minutres before the party start time to set up. I supply plastic table covers, these are a soft pastel rainbow, but you are welcome to provide your own if you would rather they fit with a certain colour palette/theme.

If the party is taking place in your home, then you will need a table that will comfortably fit all the guests. Tables and stools are available to hire should you need. Tables are £5 and stools £2. Please advise at time of booking.

It is often a good idea to have a quick game like pass the parcel, musical statues or a pinata as a “just in case.” If you are using the same table for the food/snacks, I will need around 10-15 minutes to clear away the mess. At this point a game can be played. If you have another table, then the food/snacks can be served straight away but I often find that energy levels build at this point and a physical activity can be good to fill any time left at the end. Please let me know if you require assistance with the game or with prizes.

Please note that if younger siblings and family members are taking part in the activities then they will need to be included in the numbers. If they are too young for the activities but don’t want to miss out on the fun - we can also provide a toddler friendly party kit. The kits are £6.50 each and contain a paper party bag to decorate, wooden rainbow craft kit, colouring sheets, stickers, pencils and fruit-based snack.

Travel – We can travel anywhere within Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and South London. All package prices are for venues within a 5-mile radius of Normandy Surrey GU12 6DQ . Extra charges will apply if you are outside this area. ULEZ, Congestion zones , parking charges, ferry fees, tolls etc are at your cost and will be added to your invoice. Mileage is charged at £10 per mile outside of the 5 mile radius. (for example, travel to Epsom we be an extra charge of £22.)

Cancellation – It is very unlikely that we would need to cancel a party or event. However, if it is unavoidable due to illness or personal accident then we will strive to give as much notice as possible. A refund will be issued (minus the deposit) within 5 working days.

We regret we are unable to provide refunds for non-attendance of guests.

Behavior code of conduct: Artful Kids encourages a relaxed atmosphere and aims to always promote positive behavior. We would therefore encourage all children to:

·      Respect the property others

·      Be patient, honest, fair and polite to others

·      Not use abusive or obscene language

·      Respect and treat others how they would wish to be treated.

Privacy Policy

In accordance with the GDPR, Artful Kids has a duty to abide by the requirements of the GDPR. We process personal data relating to those who attend our services, in accordance with Article 6 – “the rights of data subjects” under Data Protection Act 1998. (Processing of special categories of personal data’ under the GDPR – from May 2018.)

The information and details collected from you could include:

·       your name and address

·       your contact details including email address and telephone number

·       other information to allow us to process your booking (e.g. ages of children)

·       your payment details

·       your wishes with regard to photograph consent

Your data files are only secured in a password encrypted device and will not be shared with any third party.

We only hold your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which we collected your information.
