From our experience, children of reception or year one age often struggle to maintain their attention for extended periods of time. Younger children are accustomed to dropping in and out of activities as part of their daily routines at school, and even those little ones who enjoy crafting and can happily sit engaged when at home may find it difficult to do the same in a lively party atmosphere surrounded by friends. Therefore, we suggest opting for a free-flow party with either a variety of different activity stations or another activity to keep everyone entertained and engaged.
